A few months ago I came across a lovely shop on Instagram. I started following her page and instantly fell in love with all of her beautiful handmade pieces. Rebecca at House of Bec makes hand stamped vintage silverware made from rescued silver-plated spoons and cutlery. She brings each one back to life to display in planted pots, on the wall, in a frame, or to give as a gift. I have fallen for many of her pieces over the last few months, but this one in particular is my favorite. Throughout my childhood, my grandma always sang this song to me. I even have a very special tape recording of her and I singing the song together when I was just two years old. I have this lyric throughout my house on picture frames and framed sheet music. My husband and I have a house full of potted plants, so this would be a perfect fit in our home.

 

Her Etsy shop also features a beautiful collection of jewelry that she makes in her home studio. The pieces are made of sterling silver and made from casts of real succulents and twigs. How neat is that?! All of her pieces are stunning and so unique. I am also a huge succulent lover, so I am wanting every piece!

This is my first post in 2 years... but when I came across this, I couldn't help myself! Embroidered hoop art is beautiful on its own, but add some lovely patterned fabric, and you have a really unique piece of art for your home. Rain is pouring down outside and I can't help but get excited that it is my favorite time of year. I can get out all of my fall/winter clothes and switch out my sandals for boots. Today I was looking through my favorite shops on Etsy and came across a lovely shop I found about a year ago. Brooklin Girl has a wonderful collection of handmade accessories for the home. Her collection includes coasters, dishcloths, mug and cup cozies, bottle covers, and napkin rings. All items are crocheted in beautiful colors with 100% cotton yarn. I was looking at the website Wanelo, where you can find a huge selection of great products, and came across this lovely Etsy seller. She sells unique, yet adorable jewelry and hair accessories. My favorite items from her shop are these pretty hair bow bobby pins. They feature handmade fabric bows on lead and nickel free bobby pins. She has a large variety of colors and prints, and they come in sets of two or six. Mint green is so popular right now. Everywhere I look..mint green. I completely understand why, because it is such a pretty color. From one of my favorite shops, I found these beautiful earrings. From one of my favorite shops, this is a beautiful handmade bridal hair clip. This flower is made with white fabric and a lovely button in the center. The flower is securely attached to an alligator clip, making it very versatile.
