VINTAGE SILVER SPOON

A few months ago I came across a lovely shop on Instagram. I started following her page and instantly fell in love with all of her beautiful handmade pieces. Rebecca at House of Bec makes hand stamped vintage silverware made from rescued silver-plated spoons and cutlery. She brings each one back to life to display in planted pots, on the wall, in a frame, or to give as a gift. I have fallen for many of her pieces over the last few months, but this one in particular is my favorite. Throughout my childhood, my grandma always sang this song to me. I even have a very special tape recording of her and I singing the song together when I was just two years old. I have this lyric throughout my house on picture frames and framed sheet music. My husband and I have a house full of potted plants, so this would be a perfect fit in our home.

Her Etsy shop also features a beautiful collection of jewelry that she makes in her home studio. The pieces are made of sterling silver and made from casts of real succulents and twigs. How neat is that?! All of her pieces are stunning and so unique. I am also a huge succulent lover, so I am wanting every piece!

You can find her shop at House of Bec on Etsy. You can also find her on Instagram at @houseofbec.

Todays Pretty...

Look at these super adorable cosmetic bags! These would be so cute for bridesmaid gifts. These lovely bags come in a variety of colors (your choice!) and have pretty printed fabric inside. The colors and prints can be customized to match wedding colors or for bridesmaid preferences. I would love to have any of these colorful bags and I think the embroidered initial is the perfect embellishment. They have such a simple elegance to them. These personalized cosmetic bags can be found at Allisa Jacobs on Etsy. This shop has a large collection of handmade bags, purses, cases, organizers, and wedding gifts, all in lovely colors and prints. If I was getting married, this would be my first stop for bridesmaid gifts. Stop by and take a look!

M E L A N I E - White Bridal Flower Hair Clip

From one of my favorite shops, this is a beautiful handmade bridal hair clip. This flower is made with white fabric and a lovely button in the center. The flower is securely attached to an alligator clip, making it very versatile. What a pretty hair piece for a bride on her wedding day! Even though I love this one, I absolutely love all of the other bridal hair accessories in this shop. There is a great selection of flowers made out of different fabrics, many different button accents, and a variety of types (such a comb, clip, and hair pin). To find this beautiful piece and other wonderful items visit Twisted Flowers.
